Victory over Japan Day!
Ya know it doesn’t pain my heart one bit to think about what we did in Japan 60 years ago today. It quite possibly saved the life of my wife’s grandfather and mine too. Ya gotta hand it to the Japanese though…it took two hits before Hirohito gave it up. Of course he was willing to send women and children into the warzone to protect his throne…sounds sorta familiar doesn’t it?
It had to be done. If the likes of Al-Kennedy and Al-Durbin were in the Senate at the time I’m sure they would say that we had Japan on the ropes and that we should just wait it out. Then they would throw a solid fit when we DID drop the bomb. Screw’m.

Like Hitler…like Hirohito…like Stalin…like Pol Pot and Ho Chi Minh…like Ceacescu…like Saddam…like Osama: they are all the same.
Unfortunartely, today’s Democrats have more in common with the aforementioned than they have with the likes of Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, Madison, Adams, etc.
That’s why I prefer to call them what they are: neo-commies.

As one of today’s Democrats, I must say I disagree w/ the above assessment, but given the source, I expect it.
