Reality II – with illustration

Wednesday, December 7th, 2005

Today a tragic event played out at Miami International Airport. A man with Bi-Polar disorder had failed to take his medication and declared that he had a bomb. An Air Marshall ordered the man to the ground at which point the man reached for a carryon bag. Air Marshall did what he had to do and now the man is dead from one or more pistol rounds.

Referencing yesterday’s rant, That is reality. Now for an illustration of the contrived world of a Blue Pill person:

Federal Airport Nazis execute unarmed citizen

The Federal Marshalls assasinated an innocent citizen in Miami. These idiots murdered an unarmed passenger once they had him on the ground. Here’s a prediction. They will discover that 1) he wasn’t a terrorist and 2) he didn’t have a bomb and 3) he was unarmed and 4) they over-reacted and killed the poor man. Of course, this is just the price we have to pay for living in a police state.

Mr. Wallie left this on the Counterterrorism blog as a track back to their report of the incident.

1) The man wasn’t innocent. He was sick but certainly not innocent. Claiming to have a bomb in an airport is likely to get you shot in any airport in the world. Well, except France.

2) He was never on the ground willingly although he was ordered to the ground.

3) True he wasn’t a terrorist but how would the Air Marshall know that? The guy said he had a bomb and was reaching for his bag. Is Air Marshall supposed to wait until AFTER he’s been blown up to try and stop him?

4) True again, he didn’t have a bomb but how would the Air Marshall know that? Ask him? Wait for the hand to come out of the carry on bag with a rubber chicken?

5) They didn’t over react. Over reacting would have been jumping to conclusions before even confronting the man with the order to get on the ground. You are well familiar with jumping to conclusions though.

6) They did kill the man and it turned out to be a tragic, yet necessary, killing.

7) Police State? perhaps you are also off your medication.

Reality

Tuesday, December 6th, 2005

Reality is the rake that breaks your nose after you forgot and left it in the yard. Reality is that nasty cut on your hand when you fall on the broken glass. Reality is the bastards in the world ready to slowly strip the skin from your children while you and your wife are bound and forced to watch. Reality is the bastards in the world that fly airplanes full of innocent men, women, and children into buildings full of innocent men, women, and children. Reality sucks.

Fortunately we have a whole bunch of people in this country that refuse to accept the basic reality based fact that there are people in the world that will kill you for the simple pleasure of watching you die. No reason. No oppression. No political balderdash wrapped in an upside down American flag. These are the people that work for Human Rights Watch and the other people who cling to their outrageous reports exposing covert CIA locations around the world. Is it outrageous because the reports are false? I doubt it. Maybe because the locations are wrong? Doubt that to. It’s outrageous because these people don’t get it…they don’t understand what reality is.

I’m with Uncle Jimbo at Blackfive:

I’m about ready to just moor an aircraft carrier 50 miles off DC and centralize all funky operations out of there. Surround it with a bunch of Aegis Cruisers decked out with anti-missile gear and float a few shark boats underwater and Game on!

Here’s alittle more reality. We are at war. The enemy will stop at NOTHING to “win” and to them that means destroy America. While we are fighting terrorists the world over we fight this war against our own citizens who cannot accept reality. These people are the epitomy of Blue Pill People. They can’t see the real world because they are too busy looking at their contrived world where we can all just hug and sing some stupid song to get along.

You know what happens when you try to hug pre-war Saddam Hussein? His thugs kill you. You know what happens when you try to hug ol’ Stumpy Zarqawi? He knocks you down and slowly relieves you of your brain bag. If we capture Zarqawi do you really think a nice cushy cell, 3 Islamic friendly meals a day, Prayer Beads, and a Koran is going to make him tell us about his network? Well you are wrong. The only way to get this barbarian to talk is to threaten him with a slow painful not-quite-death…and then exercising your option of it. They don’t fear death…they do fear pain for they are cowards.

Is the above activity against the standards of a civilized society? Absolutely. But, dear reader, let me ask you this:

Since when has civilized behavior won a war of attrition?

That’s the reality of this War on Terror, deal with it.

Update: Of course, Wretchard of the Belmont Club has an excellent article related to this. He goes into the moral issues surrounding torture. Excellent excellent read…as always.

Possible tragedy for the Al-Qaeda wing of the Democrat party

Sunday, November 20th, 2005

Rumors are swirling about the possible demise of that man without a country, Zarqawi.

If it turns true, I’ll be taking a donation for sympathy chocolate(heavilly laced with Exlax) to be sent to Senators Al-Kennedy and Al-Durbin.

de Villepin fiddles while France burns

Monday, November 7th, 2005

**UPDATED**

13 nights and counting and fiddlin’ gets serious at Hôtel Matignon…

de Villepin declares state of emergency…

Golly…two weeks in to this mess and you are just now considering an emergency?

“We must be lucid: The Republic is at a moment of truth,” Villepin told parliament. “The effectiveness of our integration model is in question.” He called the riots “a warning” and “an appeal.”

First thing I have to say about this is that I hope this sounded better in French. “We must be lucid”??? Yeah France…WAKE THE **BLEEP** UP! “integration model”??? What integration model??? Of course it’s in question, YOU NEVER HAD ONE!!! “Riots a warning”? “an appeal”??? What is this guy smoking?

Bloggers to blame says French Authorities…

heheheheh…gotta hate those bloggers. These guys, if it’s true that is, are no better than the thugs outside burning France to the ground.

Ya know, I’m really feeling sorry for the average Frenchmen right now. I just can’t begin to believe that all of the French are as dimwitted as the folks they put in the Hôtel Matignon…

*********

12 nights and counting…more cars burned…more people injured…more fiddlin’ at the Hôtel Matignon…riots spread to many other cities…blah…blah…and blah.

Oh yeah…blah.

When de Villepin decides to put down his fiddle I’ll give another update…

*********

11 nights and counting and more rumor/facts emerge(time will tell which is which):

In the Washington Times this morning:

Police officers, exhausted and dispirited after 11 nights of street battles, say their mainly young African and Arab adversaries have access to sophisticated weapons including grenades and could soon begin using them.

and…

French authorities have hinted that Islamic militants may be manipulating angry teenagers to defy the government, using the Internet to organize the unrest.

I’m hoping they can nail this down one way or the other. France is, by definition, a weak country politically. If this is some kind of Islamofascist thing getting started there it really would be wise to kill it now.

*********
Tonight makes 10 nights of “riots” in France. It’s no longer localized to the Paris slums as “riots” have been reported by Reuters in other cities:

The violence that began in Seine-Saint-Denis has escalated this week and spread to a few other towns in France — Rouen in northern France, Dijon in the east and Marseille in the south.

Reports say the “rioters” are:

…Muslims of North African and black African origin, has partly been stoked by their frustration at high unemployment and the perception they lack economic opportunities.

The “riots” are organized via the Internet says the London Telegraph:

There are now concerns that the violence is being organised by groups of youths using the internet to incite copycat incidents.

So…let’s see what we have here. Groups of Muslims “rioting” all over France and coordinating their activities using the Internet. Okay…so we have disgruntled folks(I don’t care about their religion right now) trying to make a point to the Government. We went through this in the US in the 1960’s right? Of course, I didn’t see the leaders of America’s Civil Rights movement torching old ladies(AFP):

At least two people have been badly burnt by Molotov cocktails: a fireman, and a handicapped woman unable to get off an ambushed bus. A 61-year-old was also in a coma after being hit by an assailant in a public housing estate.

or preventing rescuers from getting to “sick” folks(AP):

In one attack, youths in the eastern Paris suburb of Meaux prevented paramedics from evacuating a sick person from a housing project. They pelted rescuers with rocks and then torched the waiting ambulance, an Interior Ministry official said.

While all this is going on PM de Villepin gathers up his posse and tries to find a political answer(Telegraph).

The French prime minister, Dominique de Villepin, has summoned eight key government ministers to his offices, to try and find a political answer to France’s worst rioting in decades.

de Villepin fiddles while France burns. Sarkozy has the better approach, call it for what it is and deal with it. But we can’t expect France to change from it’s infamous past ways can we? As Wretchard points out, they have waited to long to deal with this and that’s what put the Nazis on the Champs Élysées.

We know what deVillepin will do…nothing. He will wring his hands and call more meetings. Eventually the “rioters” will either quit or takeover. Since the “riots” are spreading and are organized one has to believe there is no quit in these poor mistreated immigrants…ahem.

I’m left pondering two questions.

1) Why are these people consistently called “rioters”? In one of the comments in the Jawa Report’s piece, Mrs Aginoth compares what’s going on in France to the LA Riots(Rodney King):

The UK went through the same thing in the late 70’s/early 80’s (Brixton, St Pauls riots), the USA did it in the 90’s (the LA riots), and France will have to sort themselves out now.

Uh…Mrs. Aginoth…what are you talking about? The LA Riots happened because a bunch of thugs took advantage of a bunch of cops going alittle over the line(yeah, understatement). If they wanted to protest the beating of Mr. King, why would they burn down their own community? Try to kill innocent people just because they were white? If the two events have anything in common it is the “thugs” and the mentality that says, “hey, here’s an opportunity to raise some hell!”

If their anger is against the government then destroy GOVERNMENT PROPERTY if you must destroy something. Don’t torch old women and interfere with the rescue of the injured and sick. That behavior is reminiscent of the activities of other barbarians in Falujah.

2) It has been reported, albeit reluctantly, that the thugs involved in this rebellion are Muslim. The constant undertone to that, among some in the New Media, is they are Islamofascists. If this is the case can we expect to see more serious attacks in the future? If this is the case will NATO have to come to the aid of the pathetically incapable French Government to quell this rebellion? Will it be, once again, the US to the rescue of the French? I think we’ve repaid the French several times over for their assistance at Cowpens.

PM deVillepin is convinced he can find a political answer by gathering up the thugs and everyone just having a big group hug. I say send in the RDP and the Legion and END. THIS. NOW. If they don’t, this will continue to spread and will eventually destabilize an already unstable France. I really don’t want to see US Forces once again on French soil. We’ve been there many times and many of our boys are still there.

Nigerian Plane Crash

Monday, October 31st, 2005

Last Saturday a plane went down in Nigeria shortly after take off. At first authorities said it was a tragedy but just a crash…nothing fishy. Now, Nigerian authorities suspect an explosion. Douglas Farah at the Counterterrorism blog has the full details as he has worked them out.

One thing jumps out at me however. Of the 117 passengers on board Bellview flight 210 was a US Special Forces operator. Just one? It wouldn’t surprise me to see JSOC have guys in Nigeria. It **WOULD** surprise me to see a single operator on a puddle jumper.

God Bless him and his family…and the rest of his team.
